The Blue Line is the older of the Twin Cities' two operating light-rail corridors. It runs from Target Field Station in downtown Minneapolis south through the Hiawatha corridor to Mall of America in Bloomington, calling at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport along the way.

Phases

  • 2004-06-26 — Initial revenue service, Warehouse District → Fort Snelling
  • 2004-12-04 — Extended to Mall of America via the airport tunnel
  • 2009-11-14 — Northern extension to Target Field Station
