About
A small collection of browser-based games — old favorites preserved via Ruffle (a Flash-Player emulator that runs in your browser).
▶ Motherload
Play the game that takes you under the surface of arcade-style gaming and into the roots of fun. Tipping the hat to old favorites such as Dig Dug and Boulder Dash, Motherload incorporates a modern interface, fast-paced gameplay, and an in-depth storyline. Search the substrata of Mars for the Motherload — a fabled cache of rare and valuable minerals.
▶ Tanks
Tanks is the best game out there. Prove that you and you alone are the best tank pilot by blowing your opposition to smithereens. Play against AI opponents of varying difficulty, or challenge your friends to a duel of Tanks. Take turns launching hunks of explosive metal into the air, smiling as they come crashing down on your opponent, obliterating terrain or the enemy tank itself. But you'll have to make sure you have the angle just right, or the only thing you'll be feeling — rather than a sense of victory — is embarrassment. Succeed and you'll earn money to spend on upgrading your tank or buying additional items between matches.
▶ McDonald's Video Game
Making money in a corporation like McDonald's is not easy! Behind every burger there is a complex process you need to master: from pastures to the slaughterhouse, from restaurants to branding. A satirical management game that surfaces the dirty secrets behind one of the biggest companies in the world.
▶ The Animator vs. Animation Game
After finishing Animator vs. Animation II, I received a message on Newgrounds from a high-school freshman named Charles Yeh who wanted to help me make a game version of the animation. For a 14-year-old he had everything down. We worked on a game together — I made all the art, animation, and assets, and he programmed everything in ActionScript. It's quite a challenging game to play, but there are many fun features that should keep you entertained! This is the "Special Edition" with Survival Mode, where the Stick Figure occasionally blows fire and duplicates itself. Start with "Play Original" and the tutorials, then move up to the missions and survival mode.
▶ Storm the House 3
Storm the House 3 is a Shooter game developed by Ivory. It is the sequel to Storm the House 2 where you shoot down waves of enemies trying to destroy your base. The player has to defend the base on the right side of the map from the enemies on the left side of the map. Each wave takes the course of one day. At the end of each day, the player may repair the house, upgrade their walls, purchase more gunmen, and more. All game modes have four difficulties, "EASY", "NORMAL", "HARD", and "WHY GOD!?".
▶ Warfare 1917
Lead the British or German army through the trenches of Europe in this First World War strategy game. Use infantry, armor and fire support to take control of the ground or bombard your foes into submission. Two campaigns (British and German) plus a Custom Battle mode that lets you set up skirmishes the way you want.
▶ Mud and Blood 2
Ready for some unfair brutality? Experience World War 2 as a squad leader in an extensively random war game. MNB2 is all about testing your decision-making ability and your capacity to adapt in a scenario where no punches are pulled. Complete freedom over how you set up your defence — 42+ options across soldiers, weapons, buildings, and airstrikes.
▶ The Great War of Prefectures
Invade and Build to conquer Japan! Unleash death to become the Emperor of Japan! Hire soldiers, and build laboratories and military bases on conquered lands to strengthen your army. Select a prefecture (region) and click Save twice. Hire soldiers by clicking a unit type in the left sidebar then your prefecture; move armies by dragging across them and clicking the arrows that appear. Build labs to unlock new soldier types and strategy. During combat, drag the "hold" tab sideways to position your army, then click it to unleash death (the tab switches to "will"); click "Finish Turn" when out of options. Use the minimap to navigate the main map (drag the white box); the bar next to it controls zoom. — From ZigZaGame Inc.: "This game has been launched in Japanese before. We are a group of Japanese game creators. One of us is the person who made the original Japanese game. We have all rights to the game. We absolutely did not jack the game."
